ServiceWorker and Progressive Networking

I firmly believe the "Cached then Network and postMessage" strategy I published earlier is one of the best approaches to leveraging ServiceWorker. The killer feature in ServiceWorker is offline "first" - even if I'd strongly prefer calling it something else, like progressive networking or whatever.
