Introducing React Native: Building Apps with JavaScript

A few months ago Facebook announced React Native, a framework that lets you build native iOS applications with JavaScript – and the official repository just came out of beta today! People have been using JavaScript and HTML5 to create iOS applications using the PhoneGap wrapper for a number of years, so is React Native really such a big deal?
