Performance is a problem. The evidence is clear - performance affects your business goals, your user's happiness, and it impacts areas with poor connectivity even more than you might expect. It's really tempting to immediately think, "I already know what to do! Let's just fix the problem" Certainly, there are some quick performance wins out there.
