Rails, React, CommonJS, and ES2015

Using React as your Rails front-end Recently, I joined Beek, a social network oriented towards book lovers in Spanish speaking countries. Their infrastructure is written in rails, but suffers from a lot of performance issues, many of which come from large, nested queries or a sequence of many unrelated queries.
